Nike Air Max 2017: No Ban

MMy shoe is inspired by the travel ban that was recently implemented. As an immigrant and someone with ancestry from Somalia, one of the countries on the ban list, I find it crucial to shed light on how this ban is unconstitutional and outright racist. The colorway is inspired by the images that my friend Ayaan Mohallim took from her time spent in a refugee camp in rural Somalia. 20% of the proceeds from this shoe will go towards the Nakivale Refugee camp in Uganda, an organization that helps refugees from Somalia and Sudan, two countries that are on the ban list.
